Privacy information for Munich Rent Map

Munich Rent Map is designed as an anonymous, community-driven transparency tool. The form avoids names, email addresses, phone numbers, and exact apartment identifiers.

Submitted rent entries may include street name, postal code, rent, housing type, optional room count, optional area, and optional lease start year. These submissions are stored in Firebase Firestore and are reviewed before publication.

Analytics tracking is currently disabled until a consent flow is implemented. No Google Analytics or Firebase Analytics events are sent at the moment.

Basic anti-abuse metadata may be stored temporarily, including browser user-agent snippets and submission timestamps, solely to protect the service against spam and manipulation.
